For best results I use the Balsa and Felt Straight Razor Lap Top Strop in between honing (sharpening) to keep my razor sharp and the razors edge clean of metal particles and re-aligned.When my straight razor starts grabbing or nicking your face then re-set my straight razor edge with 20-40 laps (back and forth) with the same stropping method as my leather strop (tang first) on the Balsa Straight Razor Lap Top Strop loaded with chromium oxide semi paste and then on the Felt Lap Top Strop loaded with diamond slurry spray and I always use my Leather Strop 20-40 laps before and after Shaving.The chromium oxide paste loaded on my Balsa Straight Razor Lap Top Strop or diamond slurry spray loaded on my Felt Straight Razor Lap Top Strop will keep my razor edge sharp and Shave Ready!
